Eco Update: October 2025

Published 3 November 2025 at 14:01

As we welcome the fresh autumn of October 2025, Enbecom remains steadfast in its commitment to environmental sustainability. Working in collaboration with our eco-project collaborator, Ecologi, we have been actively participating in numerous green initiatives across the globe. Today, we wish to shine a spotlight on two of our standout projects: Revitalising agricultural land for carbon removal and reintroducing native Polylepis forests in the high Andes.

Revitalising agricultural land for carbon removal

Regenerative agriculture is not merely a farming technique; it is a holistic approach that emphasises the renewal of soil health and the revitalisation of ecological systems. This approach serves as an efficient method for extracting carbon from the atmosphere, alleviating climate change impacts, and concurrently rejuvenating our agricultural landscapes.

By endorsing farmers in adopting regenerative practices, we’re not only aiding in carbon sequestration but also amplifying biodiversity, improving water cycles, and fostering long-term sustainability in farming societies. This initiative embodies our dedication to fostering a healthier planet and backing sustainable livelihoods.

Reintroducing native Polylepis forests in the high Andes

Our second venture takes us to the spectacular high Andes, where we’re participating in the reintroduction of native Polylepis forests. Between 65 and 90% of the trees planted in this initiative are locally dominant species of Polylepis, supplemented with other native species, depending on the region.

The recuperation of these forests is vital for conserving biodiversity, reinforcing the environment’s resilience against climate change, and providing a lifeline for local communities who depend on these forests for their survival. It’s another project that seamlessly aligns with our philosophy of marrying ecological preservation and community development.

We’re thrilled to share that since the inception of our partnership with Ecologi over four years ago, we’ve financed the planting of 4644 trees. This achievement signifies not just our dedication to environmental sustainability but also our confidence in the potential of collective action.

At Enbecom, we’re driven by the desire to make a positive impact, not just in the realm of webcasting and video services, but also in our global environment.
